How do I change my bank account or the name on fans' card statements?
Both live in your Stripe account. Go to Settings → Payouts and tap Change next to the one you want. Stripe opens in a new tab.
- Go to Settings → Payouts.
- In the Payout account card, find Bank account or Name on fans' card statements.
- Tap Change. Your Stripe dashboard opens in a new tab.
- Make the change in Stripe and save it there.
The Payouts page shows the new value once Stripe tells us about it. If a value shows See in Stripe, we couldn't read it just now. Tap it to see it in Stripe.
To update your business details, tap Update with Stripe next to Business.
Who can do this
Only the owner. Admins can see these details but can't change them, because the Stripe account belongs to the owner.
Pick a statement name fans will recognize
This is the text on your fans' card statements. Stripe allows up to 22 characters. Use your event or venue name, not a company name fans have never heard of. A name fans don't recognize is a common reason they dispute a charge. See Chargebacks and disputes.
Changing banks
A new bank account is used for payouts from then on. Stripe may check it first, which can delay your next payout.
