How do I unpublish or delete an event?
You can unpublish an event until someone holds a ticket. After that, cancel it instead. There's no delete button.
Unpublish
- Open the event and tap Edit event.
- Tap Unpublish. You'll see "Event unpublished."
The event goes back to a draft. Fans can't see it or buy. Tap Publish to bring it back.
Unpublish only appears while nobody holds a ticket. Once anyone has a ticket, even a free one, the event can't go back to draft, because those fans need it to stay real.
Stop selling an event that has sales
- To stop one ticket type, set its quantity to 0.
- To call off the event, tap Cancel event under Stop selling. Cancelling refunds everyone. See Cancel or postpone an event.
Delete
There's no way to delete an event from the dashboard. A draft you don't publish stays private, so you can simply leave it. If you need an event removed completely, email support@daytona-lab.com.
You can delete a ticket type that has no sales. One with sales can only be closed.
