Someone sent me a ticket. How do I accept it?

Open the email that says someone sent you a ticket, sign in, and tap Accept.

  1. Open the email and tap the link in it.
  2. Sign in, or make an account with Apple, Google or email and a password.
  3. Check the event and ticket, then tap Accept.

The ticket opens with a new QR code that belongs to you, and it is in your tickets in the app too. You can also tap Decline.

Before you accept

  • Refunds: a transferred ticket can't be refunded unless the event is cancelled. If it is, the refund goes to the card of the person who paid, not to you.
  • Disputes: if the person who paid disputes the charge with their bank, your ticket can be cancelled.

Only accept tickets from people you trust.

  • The transfer may have expired. It lasts 72 hours, and closes 1 hour before the event.
  • The sender may have cancelled it, or used the ticket.
  • Someone else may have accepted it first, if the email was forwarded.
  • It may say to confirm your email first. Confirm the email on your account, then open the link again. A ticket can only go to an account whose email is confirmed.

If it still doesn't work, ask the sender to send it again.
