How do I write my refund policy?

You write your refund policy on each event, and fans see it under Refunds on the event page before they buy. You decide whether fans can get the ticket price back.

  1. Open the event and tap Edit event.
  2. Under Refunds, type into Your refund policy. You have up to 1,000 characters.
  3. Tap Save refund policy. You'll see "Refund policy saved."

New events start with "Refunds are at the organizer's discretion." Change it to something clearer. A clear policy means fewer disputes.

We add one line under your text, and you can't remove it:

Service fee is non-refundable, except if the event is cancelled or postponed more than 6 months.
